We build custom platforms.

About us

We design and ship platforms where real money moves. What sets us apart is not speed, but what still stands six months later: backups we have already restored for real, tests that run on every update, a written record of every decision. We take on few projects, and we finish them.

01 — What we do

Payments are not a feature.
They are half the product.

Taking a payment is easy. What breaks projects is what comes next: keeping the money aside until delivery, paying the right person, never charging twice, and proving six months later who decided what.

01

Money held

The client's payment is held until they approve the delivery. Neither the person delivering nor you can touch it before.

02

Payouts

Money goes straight from the client to whoever delivered, your fee taken on the way. It never passes through your bank account.

03

Contracts

A written contract for every agreement, with dates, later changes and supporting documents kept. Every version is dated and stored: you can show who agreed to what, and when.

04

Disputes

When it goes wrong: the dispute is reviewed, full or partial refund, decision on record. The money is held before anyone decides, never the other way round.

05

Never twice

A client who clicks twice is charged once. A payout retried does not go out twice. That is where real money disappears.

06

On the record

Every step, every payment, every intervention is recorded with its date and author. Enough to answer a question six months later.

02 — Our platform

Not a mockup.
A service in operation.

Every step of this chain has run with real money, from the client's payment through to the provider's payout.

OctaveNode

Our own marketplace, which we publish and operate. It frames collaborations between brands and content creators. The client posts a need, receives proposals, negotiates, signs. Their payment is held until they approve delivery, then paid out to the creator, who receives the full agreed amount. OctaveNode's service fee is billed separately to the client. If they disagree, we review the dispute and decide on payout or refund. The decision is on record.

03 — Method

Written scope, fixed price,
short timeline.

We work at a fixed price, on a scope agreed in advance. No open-ended time billing: what is written is delivered, anything added is quoted separately, in writing.

01

Scoping

A conversation, then a document: what will be delivered, what will not, and the price. You decide on a written basis, not a promise.

2 to 5 days
02

Foundations

How the data is structured, who is allowed to see what, and the path the money takes. The decisions hardest to undo are made first.

1 to 2 weeks
03

Build

Intermediate versions you can open and try. You watch the product move rather than read a status report.

2 to 4 weeks
04

Go live

Go live, backups verified, error monitoring, and a written recovery procedure that has already been tested.

2 to 3 days
05

Warranty

Thirty days of fixes included. After that, a monthly retainer: backups watched, errors tracked, security updates applied. A platform handling money is not left unattended.

30 days
04 — Our stack

Proven building blocks,
not bets.

We don't reinvent the foundations on every project. Payments, database, hosting, error monitoring: we use tools we already run every day, and whose limits we know.

05 — Working together

For your agency, or direct.

WHITE LABEL

You are an agency

You have the client, not the capacity. Or no appetite for the money side. We work under your brand, with a single point of contact.

DIRECT

You own a project

You have a platform idea and need someone able to build all of it, payments included. We take the project from scoping to production.

06 — FAQ

What we get asked.

How many are you?

A deliberately lean structure. That is what makes short timelines possible, with one point of contact from first conversation to production. You never re-explain your project to someone else.

What does a project cost?

Fixed price, set after scoping. A complete platform with managed payments typically ranges from a few thousand to a few tens of thousands of euros depending on scope. Scoping always precedes pricing.

What does maintenance cost?

From 300 € per month excluding tax, depending on the size of the platform. That is less than half a day of development. It covers error monitoring, backup verification and security updates. New features are quoted separately.

How long does it take?

Three to six weeks for a first live version on a defined scope. It is short because we do not start from zero on payments: we have already built it, and it runs.

What if it breaks after delivery?

Thirty days of fixes are included. We also deliver error monitoring, backups and a written recovery procedure. Not only code.

Who owns the code?

Yours, entirely, on delivery. The code, the documentation, the server access: everything is transferred to you. You are not tied to anyone to keep improving your own product.

Do you handle regulatory compliance?

We rely on specialist providers who verify the identity of everyone receiving money and handle moving it. On the obligations specific to your business, we tell you plainly what belongs to a lawyer rather than a developer.

How do we start?

An email, then a thirty-minute call. You leave with a straight answer on feasibility and a ballpark — even if the answer is that your project does not need us.
